I met Frank in 2012 when we were facing a seemingly intractable manufacturability issue with one of our MEMS concepts. Frank introduced a highly structured problem-solving methodology and a tremendous team spirit. With this approach, Frank revitalized the program and quickly achieved success. We didn't part ways until the problem was fully resolved.
In 2016, we encountered another issue with a different MEMS concept. We were able to hire Frank again, and he once again delivered on our initial commitment. Frank spent three years at ASML as Principal Process Architect for the development of ultra-thin membranes (Pellicles), leading process development and industrialization. This required challenging process and product expertise combined with the management of development partners and external suppliers. Frank successfully accomplished this assignment with his drive for results, enthusiasm, broad technological knowledge and experience, and management skills.
